The Perfect Elder Team: The Trinity

The Relational Elders Retreat will examine the perfect Elder Team: The Trinity. We will examine the relationships between each person of the Trinity, how their relationships are ordered, and how Christ passed those relational principles on to His disciples. Within the context of those relationships, Jesus birthed the church and set into motion the greatest movement in all of human history.

One of the most important aspects of Godly leadership is modeling right relationships. Many church leaders have been influenced to a large degree by the systems, principles and organizational structures of corporate America. This influence in part has resulted in a lack of intimacy, vulnerability, unity and faith among church leaders. The lack of relational health among church leaders negatively impacts the local church's ability to live out the biblical community values of the Gospel: Mission and Multiplication.

At this retreat, we will interact with the principles of relational eldering that help local churches live out biblical values. The six sessions are designed to be processed within your leaders' community.

Where do we go from here?

To maximize this retreat, come with at least one other Elder/Pastor from your church. The greater the number from your leadership team in attendance, the greater the impact. This is also a great way to introduce your Next Generation Elders to the role and responsibilities of eldering.

Schedule

The training schedule can be tailored to the preference of your group. The six sessions involve 16 hours of instruction. In addition, breakout times for lunch, dinner and snacks need to be incorporated into the schedule.
