As we come together for Women’s Camp 2012 we will focus on MISSION, what we do to serve Christ in our lives. We are called into MISSION at different levels in our life, whether it be at home, in our personal life, with our neighbors, or around the world.

The program this year is designed to stimulate relationships among the women of your church for a greater experience of God’s missional call on your life.

Who You Will Hear

Georgene Rice, Speaker

Georgene Rice, a native Oregonian, is the host of The Georgene Rice Show, airing weekdays on KPDQ Radio. She has performed gospel music for more than 30 years throughout the Pacific Northwest, and in Canada, Europe and Africa. Georgene is a featured soloist in the Portland Christmas Tree and as itinerant worship leaders, Georgene and her husband Dan, consult and train local worship musicians. In 1988 the Rices produced Georgene’s CD "A Servant’s Prayer."

Georgene has lectured on university campuses and is a frequent speaker and worship leader at Christian conferences and retreats. Georgene has served on several boards and regularly volunteers for charitable organizations. Dan and Georgene live in Portland, Oregon.

Mission/Vision Statement

We envision an event to bring groups of women from our community of churches together for a time of Refreshment away from normal routines and responsibilities where women are Encouraged to look beyond themselves to build community and redemptive relationships. Women will be Stimulated and challenged to see God’s perspective in their lives and have their hearts Transformed and redirected towards God, a time of R.E.S.T.
